Mark Newell, P. Eng, possesses extensive experience in systems and ASIC design engineering, currently serving as a Systems Engineer at Avalon Holographics since August 2016. Prior to this role, Mark held senior management positions at Intel Corporation and Altera, leading teams of over 30 engineers in the design and implementation of high-speed digital circuit solutions for telecommunications and network applications. Mark's career spans various roles, including direct engineering and team leadership, contributing to significant advancements in integrated solutions up to 400Gbps. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University and completed the Advanced Leadership Program at the Gardiner Center in 2015.
