Mariano Alvarez is a Co-Founder at Avalo, Inc., a position held since February 2021. Prior to this role, Mariano Alvarez worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Wesleyan University from June 2020 to February 2021 and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Duke University from August 2016 to June 2020. Mariano Alvarez earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of South Florida between 2011 and 2016, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the same institution from 2005 to 2011.
