Rahul Aggarwal is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Avalara since November 2014, with a progression through roles such as Senior Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, Engineering Lead, and Technical Lead. Prior to this, Rahul held significant positions at Uchange Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from January 2011 to November 2014 as Lead Technical Architect and Technical Architect, and at Winjit Technologies Pvt Ltd from March 2009 to December 2010 as Senior Software Engineer. Early experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at IBM in 2008, where work focused on developing an Emulator for multiple instruction sets. Rahul holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University, a Master of Computer Applications from the University of Mumbai, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Deep Learning at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
