Giuliano Carlini has worked in the technology industry since 1997. giuliano began their career at Oracle as a Programmer, where they designed and built an active object framework for a workflow product. In 1999, they moved to MSB Associates as a Principle, where they specialized in helping clients with \"at-risk\" projects. In 2004, they joined Coral8 (acquired by Sybase) as a Programmer, and in 2009 they joined Translattice as a Programmer, where they added a RPC callback subsystem and revised the RPC subsystem to use non blocking IO subsystem. In 2011, they joined Baynote as a Senior Architect, where they drove MVP feature set definition and architecture for BaynoteONE merchandising model and real time recommendations delivery components. In 2016, they joined Kibo Commerce as a Senior Architect, and in 2017 they joined Amazon as a Software Developer III. At Amazon, they developed back end services providing integration of IoT door lock integration with Amazon order delivery and added a new Real Time Garbage Collector to Java Virtual Machine. In 2018, they joined Zume Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built a scalable backend infrastructure for the hyper local preparation and delivery of high quality meals. In 2020, they joined Scalyr as a Software Engineer, and in 2021 they joined Avail as a Distinguished Engineer/Architect, where they write code as an individual and as a leader helping the engineering org deliver new features quickly.
Giuliano Carlini obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California between 1977 and 1981.
