Marla Scarola currently serves as Senior Vice President of Regulatory & Quality at Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Marla Scarola was with ProPharma Group from January 2019 to May 2024, where responsibilities included Senior Vice President of Regulatory Process Management and Vice President of Regulatory Program Management. Marla Scarola's earlier experience includes a tenure at The Weinberg Group from January 2004 to January 2019, serving as Vice President of Regulatory Program Management, as well as holding positions as Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Researcher. Academically, Marla Scarola earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University between 2005 and 2007 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Vertebrate Physiology from Penn State University from 1997 to 2001.
