David Hakimi has a wealth of work experience. In 2010, they founded Hakimi Gem Imports, a Chicago-based estate jewelry, diamond, and gold trading business. In 2015, they founded Haksnet, a technology company. In 2020, they became the Director of Business Development at Auxxit, a mobile app that connects like-minded members in close-knit online communities.

David Hakimi attended GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in 2012 to take a Diamond Grading Lab Class. From 2006 to 2011, they attended Illinois State University and earned a Bachelor in IT Management.
