Alex Cui has worked at several organizations since 2008. Alex began their career as a Sales Assistant at Danfoss, followed by a Research Assistant position at Stanford University in 2010. In 2013, they joined McKinsey & Company as part of the Pacific Asia Insight Program. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2016, they were a Research Fellow at Harvard University. In 2017, they joined AutoX as a Tech Lead - Perception and Senior Perception Software Engineer. Alex also worked as a Self-Driving Car Nanodegree Forum Mentor and Classroom Mentor at Udacity during the same year.
Alex Cui has a diverse educational background. Alex earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering from Peking University in 2011, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 2017. Alex also holds a Certificate in Nanoscience from The University of Tokyo, which they obtained in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Udacity in Data Analyst Nanodegree and Self-Driving Car Nanodegree in October 2016, as well as from Coursera in Machine Learning.
