Marc Vannerem has extensive experience in the engineering and nuclear sectors, currently serving as Head of Knowledge, Learning & Intelligence at the Office for Nuclear Regulation since April 2009, and as Head of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Research. In addition, Marc Vannerem has been a member of the Scientific Committee at the Autorité de sûreté nucléaire since November 2018. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Sellafield Ltd from January 2003 to March 2009 and various positions at Solvay from 1985 to 2002, culminating in roles such as Technical Manager and Process Engineering Manager. Early career experience includes a role as Process Engineer in Brussels, focusing on international support and computer simulation for manufacturing subsidiaries. Academically, Marc Vannerem holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Management Sciences from The University of Manchester.
