Shamsia Quraishi, CAE, has extensive experience in research, knowledge mobilization, and communications, currently serving as Manager of Research and Knowledge Mobilization at the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada since September 2015. Additional roles at AIA include Project Manager, Knowledge Transfer Specialist, Communications Coordinator, and Training Coordinator. Shamsia also holds leadership positions at the Ottawa Toastmasters Club, including President, Vice President - Education, and Vice President - Public Relations, since July 2018. Experience includes mentoring at OCISO Community Economic Development Programs, serving as Communications Officer at the World Skills Employment Centre, and working in various roles at Immigrant Women Services Ottawa and UNHCR. Shamsia's academic credentials comprise an MBA, an MA in English Language and Literature, a BA in English Language and Literature, and a diploma in Information Technology from Osmania University and the National Institute of Information Technology.
