Michael Ontiveros is a data scientist and epidemiologist with extensive experience in public health. Currently serving at the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. since April 2023, Michael previously held roles at the CDC Foundation as both an epidemiologist and data scientist from 2020 to 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a data scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and volunteering with Bienestar Human Services in support of their syringe services program in 2017. Michael holds a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University (2015-2019).
