Thilina Hasantha is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Automattic since January 2021, Thilina has held various significant roles including Lead Engineer at InstaFreight GmbH and GroupM, as well as establishing IceHrm.com as the Founder. Previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at Adikteev, Software Engineer at Rocket Internet SE, and a range of engineering roles at Vocanic and DirectFN. Thilina also contributed to the Google Summer of Code as a Student Programmer and completed an internship at hSenid Software International. Thilina holds a B.Sc Eng in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, obtained in 2008.
