Dr. Panos Plegas currently serves as the Vice President of Global Product Development at Autoliv since April 2022. Previously, Plegas held key leadership positions in various organizations, including Business Leader at AetosAnagen AB, Senior Partner at Incondia AB, and Vice President of Operations at Volvo Trucks, where responsibilities spanned across markets in Asia and globally. With extensive experience at Volvo Group from 1992 to 2010, Plegas contributed to product line optimization, marketing, engineering operations, and technology strategy, culminating in roles such as Senior Vice President for both the Heavy Duty Product Line and Marketing & Programs for Volvo Aero. Plegas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture from Chalmers University of Technology and has completed numerous executive education programs across prestigious institutions. Additionally, Plegas is recognized as an Honorary Doctor from Luleå University of Technology.
