Maxime Lavigne is a Principal Software Engineer at Autodesk Tandem, contributing since November 2022, and a PhD Candidate at McGill University, with a focus on Epidemiology and Privacy-Preserving Clinical Informatics. Lavigne has extensive experience in research and software engineering, having served as a Research Software Engineer at McGill University Health Centre from May 2013 to December 2022, where responsibilities included designing a Population Health Surveillance System. Previous roles include an Information Security Analyst at GoSecure Inc., a Software Engineering Intern at Google, and various teaching assistant positions at McGill University and École Polytechnique de Montréal. Lavigne holds a PhD and a Master's in Clinical Informatics from McGill University, complemented by an engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and an associate degree from Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute.
