Jim Walsh is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, boasting over 35 years of management experience, primarily as Vice President of Claims at Auto-Owners Insurance since 1978. Currently self-employed since July 2017 as a retired Claims Officer, Jim has demonstrated expertise in property casualty insurance claims, organizational change, and major project management. Active in professional development, Jim served on the Executive Committee of the Central Claims Executives Association, taking on roles such as President and Treasurer. Additional leadership experience includes positions with GRAND LEDGE AREA YOUTH FOOTBALL INC, the Conference of Casualty Insurance Companies, and the Cumberland Grade School Parent Teacher Association. Jim began their career as an Internal Auditor for Shoe Corporations of America while completing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at The Ohio State University from 1970 to 1974.
