Woody Sears has a diverse work experience, having held roles in the travel and hospitality, startup, and technology industries. Woody's career began in 2001 at AT&T, where they worked as a Global Account Manager and Key Account Manager. In 2007, they joined Vettro Corp as a Regional Sales Manager, and in 2009 they founded zuuka, where they were responsible for the establishment of the flagship brand, iStoryTime. In 2014, zuuka/iStoryTime was acquired by Cupcake Digital, and Sears became the Chief Revenue Officer of iStoryTime. Woody also served as a Board of Advisors for ArtQ, WAMI, and Desk Yogi from 2017-2022. In 2020, Sears founded Autio - Audio for Travel, and in 2022 they joined Plug and Play Tech Center as an Accelerator for Travel & Hospitality. Additionally, they completed coursework at Y Combinator's Startup School.
Woody Sears completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999. Woody then went on to earn an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University in 2005. Woody is also an Alumni of the Accelerator Program at Yellow.
