James Basso has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. James currently works at Authentic8 as a Solutions Architect, where they develop technical solutions for integrating customer systems with the company's SaaS offerings. James also serves as a technical advisor and designs architectures that exceed customer expectations. Prior to this, James worked at Progress as a Principal Solutions Architect - Security Specialist from 2021 to 2023. At Kemp, they held multiple roles, including Principal Solutions Architect - Security Specialist, Solutions Architect, Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer - Escalation Lead. During their time at Kemp, they focused on conveying the importance of network visibility to enterprise stakeholders and engaging with NetOp and SecOp teams to deploy and maintain security solutions. James also provided pre-sales support and technical assistance to customers. In their earliest role at World Products Inc, James served as a Technical Account Manager / Product Specialist, where they provided technical and account support to customers and managed retail and wholesale accounts.

James Basso began their education in 2005, attending Suffolk County Community College where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Automotive Engineering Technology. James completed this program in 2007. Following this, from 2010 to 2011, Basso attended Suffolk County Community College once again, this time pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Network Design and Administration. In 2011, they transferred to St. Joseph's University New York to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, which they completed in 2014. Basso then furthered their education at St. Joseph's University New York by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Forensic Computing from 2017 to 2019.
