Stuart Bennington has extensive experience in information management and curation, currently serving as the Curator of Official Records at the Australian War Memorial since January 2012. Prior to this role, Bennington held several positions including Information Management Services Coordinator at the City of Gosnells and Assistant Coordinator of Information Management Support at Tourism Western Australia. Additional experience includes roles as Document Controller at New Metro Rail and Volunteer Historian at the Western Australian Youth Orchestra. Bennington's career in various capacities at the Family Court of Western Australia spans over a decade, complemented by casual roles through Adecco Australia. A member of the Royal Australian Navy as an Able Seaman Radio Operator from 1991 to 1997, Bennington holds a Master of Information Management from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in History and Media Studies from Murdoch University.
