Daniel Andrews is a creative technologist currently working at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) since January 2023. From June 2014 to the present, Andrews served as Geek in Residence at ATYP, with previous roles including Technical Digital Producer at the World Wide Fund for Nature and various positions as Geek in Residence at prominent organizations like Bangarra Dance Theatre and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Earlier experience includes roles at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a New Media Developer and positions in graphic design and IT consulting. Andrews holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney, specializing in electronic and temporal art.
