Marianne Morton (GAICD) currently serves as the Chief Information and Digital Officer at ANSTO since August 2018. Prior to this role, Marianne was the IT Director for ASEAN at Smith & Nephew and held the position of IT Strategy Director at Macquarie University, where important initiatives like the IT PMO and IT roadmap development were undertaken. Experience also includes serving as IT Director for Asia Pacific at Cochlear, where alignment of regional IT strategy with global goals was achieved, and various key roles at GE Healthcare, including Global IT Leader and Global Crisis Manager, where management of cross-border teams and operational strategy were pivotal. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s in Business Technology from UNSW, a Bachelor in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, and a Diploma in Marketing Management from TAFE NSW, along with current studies at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
