Nerida O'Loughlin

Nerida O'Loughlin PSM is an accomplished leader in the Australian communications and media sector, currently serving as Chair and Agency Head of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since October 2017. O'Loughlin also holds the position of Associate Member at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) since 2019. Previous roles include Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Digital Transformation Agency (2016-2017), Deputy Secretary of Content Arts and Strategy at the Department of Communications and the Arts (2013-2016), and Head of the Digital Switchover Taskforce at the Department of Broadband Communications and the Digital Economy (2011-2013). O'Loughlin's extensive experience also includes serving as General Manager at ACMA (2006-2010) and Director of Industry and Community Development at Multimedia Victoria (1995-2001).
