Chris Dale is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience across various sectors, including telecommunications, defense, and government services. Currently serving as Chief Information and Digital Officer at the Australian Communications and Media Authority since May 2024, Chris has previously held significant roles at Defence Australia from March 2020 to May 2024, focusing on next-generation information systems for deployed personnel. Chris’s prior experience includes positions such as Chief Information and Security Officer at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, and Assistant Secretary at the Department of Finance, where responsibilities included delivering technology initiatives for government-wide benefit. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Newcastle and completion of the National Security Senior Executive Development Program at The Australian National University.
