George Alim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in plant and production management across various industries, including building products and manufacturing. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Austral Bricks since July 2017, George has a strong track record of overseeing multi-million dollar operations with full P&L accountability. Previous roles include Production Manager at USG Boral Building Products and Diageo, as well as Site Manager at SUEZ environnement Australia, where responsibilities encompassed safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. George also established a unique car service center as Owner/Director of U C Us Mechanics and has held managerial positions at notable companies such as James Hardie Building Products and Barrett Burston Maltings. Educational qualifications include an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
