Robert Monroe has extensive experience in safety and security, currently serving as the Safety and Security Director at Austin Street Center since September 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing the safety of a homeless shelter in South Dallas. Prior to this role, Robert held positions as a Tactical Response Officer for AlliedBarton/Capital One, providing armed security for executive clients, and as a Surgical Tech for the US Army, supporting surgical procedures. Robert's military background includes service with the 94th Combat Support Hospital, US Army Civil Affairs, and the US Marine Corps ANGLICO, where communication and coordination in high-stakes environments were key responsibilities. Education includes training from the US Army and US Marine Corps, along with studies at Saddleback College. Robert excels in fostering safety and security across various sectors while maintaining strong family commitments as a husband and father.
