Ramlan Lumban Tobing is a highly experienced QA/QC professional with a strong background in welding inspection and quality control in the engineering and shipbuilding sectors. Currently serving as a QA/QC Welding Inspector at Austin Engineering Ltd since June 2013, Ramlan oversees the testing of welding procedure qualification records and conducts welder qualification tests. Previous roles include QA/QC positions at Citra Shipyard and PT.AEI, as well as assistant supervision at Jaya Holdings Limited, where responsibilities involved organizing and reviewing qualification tests and inspections. Ramlan started in the industry as a QC Inspector at Drydocks World - Dubai, focusing on inspecting fit-up and welding conditions. Earlier experience as a Piping QC at Adi Batama Perkasa and Wong Po Heng Indonesia further solidified expertise in quality assurance procedures. Ramlan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Gunadarma.
