Javi G. Gonzalez, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Power System Engineer at Austin Energy since August 2023, Javi previously held the position of Capital Projects Manager for the City of Austin from September 2019 to August 2023, overseeing project management services for over $100 million in public infrastructure investments. Javi's earlier career at Fluor Corporation included roles as a Mechanical Engineer in construction management and design for the $12.9 billion Sasol Lake Charles Chemicals Project, spanning from June 2013 to July 2018. Javi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
