Craig Schaub is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical power distribution and automation systems, currently serving as a Control Engineering Manager and SCADA/EMS Analyst Senior at Austin Energy since August 2008. In this role, Craig manages a team of approximately 22 people tasked with the specification, procurement, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical electric utility automation systems, including SCADA/EMS and Advanced Distribution Management Systems. Previously, Craig held various supervisory positions at Pedernales Electric Cooperative from 1982 to 2006, where responsibilities included overseeing telecommunications, automated meter reading systems, and SCADA systems. Craig began the career as a Senior Test Technician at Bath Electrical Systems, Inc. and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Power Distribution Technology from Texas State Technical College. Additionally, Craig partnered in operations at Sandra's Salsa, a food manufacturing company owned by a spouse, from 2005 to 2012.
