Paul Wood has extensive experience in the shipbuilding industry, currently serving as a Structural Designer IV at Austal USA since May 2023. Previously, Paul has held significant roles including Sr. Designer Lead B at Bollinger MS Shipbuilding and Structural Designer IV at Ingalls Shipbuilding, both while recruited since late 2017. Paul’s history also includes positions as a Designer/Field Engineer at BAE SYSTEMS and Project Manager at Foster Fabrications. Other notable roles include Structural Designer at VT Halter Marine, Structural/Pipe Designer at Signal International, and Mechanical Designer/Field Engineer at Austal Ships. Paul began a career in structural design with Bender Ship Building & Repair and holds an Associate's degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology from Remington College-Mobile Campus, obtained between 2003 and 2005.
