Alexis Valenza serves as the Managing Director and Principal Groundwater Engineer at Valenza Engineering Pty Ltd since January 2011. Involved with the AusIMM as a Committee Member for the Melbourne Branch since January 2019, Alexis also contributes to the IAH - International Association of Hydrogeologists as a Committee Member for the Victorian Chapter since February 2011. Previously, Alexis held the position of Corporate Partner Galvaniser for the Victorian Chapter of Engineers Without Borders Australia in 2012 and acted as Geosciences Team Leader and Principal Hydrogeologist at Hyder Consulting from 2008 to 2011. With experience as Branch Manager, Engineering Geologist, and Hydrogeologist at Sol Systemes (2001-2007), and as a Geologist at Vialit (1997-2001), Alexis holds a Master’s degree in Hydrogeology - Engineering Geology from the University of Montpellier and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology from Université Côte d'Azur. Currently, Alexis is also part of the advisory board at Coraggio since May 2021.
