Jo Mackey is an experienced communications and content specialist with a strong background in media relations and sports journalism. Currently serving as the Communications & Content Specialist at AusCycling since November 2020, Jo has previously held positions such as Communications Officer at Mountain Bike Australia Ltd, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies and managing media communications. Other notable roles include Media Manager for the North Queensland Cowboys and freelance sports reporter for Network Ten and PERFORM. Jo's journalism career began at PRIME7 and WIN Television, advancing to roles at FOX SPORTS Australia, with a foundational education in Journalism from Queensland University of Technology.
