Juan J. Garcia Beteta is an experienced Science Operations Engineer with a strong background in space missions and operations management. Currently serving at Aurora Technology BV since March 2017, Juan contributes to the ExoMars2016 Mission by maintaining SOC uplink interfaces and infrastructure setup. Prior to this, from September 1998 to February 2017, Juan held various engineering roles at GMV, S.A., including significant contributions to the Rosetta Mission, where responsibilities included planning support and tool management. Juan's extensive experience also includes roles as Project Engineer and Software Support Engineer in the CS-INS Division and XMM Science Operations Centre, focusing on software development, maintenance, and user support across multiple space missions. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Physics and post-graduate studies in Atomic and Nuclear Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
