John O'Donnell is a seasoned game designer with a strong background in engineering and education. Currently serving as Lead Game Designer at Auroch Digital Ltd since February 2022, John is leading the project Mars Horizon 2: The Search for Life. Previously, John held positions at FlatPonies and Griffith College Cork, where responsibilities included game design and lecturing on topics such as game development and computer hardware. Prior experience includes working as a Design Expert at Kite Entertainment, Game Lab Manager and Assistant Lecturer at IT-Universitetet i København, as well as roles involving software engineering and electronic design at companies like Movidius and Intel Corporation. John holds a Master's degree in Game Design from IT-Universitetet i København and another Master's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from University College Dublin, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
