Paula Sello has a diverse work experience in creative and fashion-related roles. Paula co-founded AUROBOROS in 2018 and served as the Creative Director. In 2021, they worked in Material Innovation & Design at Amazon Studios for a brief period. In 2017, Paula worked as a Fashion Stylist for Vogue, and in 2015, they were an Archive Assistant at CHANEL. Prior to that, in 2014, they worked as a Studio Assistant at David LaChapelle Studios Inc.

Paula Sello pursued their education at Goldsmiths, University of London from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. In the same year, they also briefly attended the University of the Arts London's London School of Fashion for a Design course.
