Stephen L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stephen started their career in 1998 as an Engineer at Total Avionics Support Pty Ltd, where they were involved in electronic design and fabrication of airborne power converter/follower, GPS aircraft tracking modules, and the service and repair of Codan Radio Transceivers.

In 1999, they briefly worked as an Alarm Technician at Darwin Alarm Specialists Pty Ltd.

From 2000 to 2005, Stephen worked as a Software Engineer at ADI Limited.

In 2005, they joined Convai as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for full-stack development and complete lifecycle management of IVR/NLSR/Biometric/Telephony automation projects. Stephen worked with various software languages (C#.NET, Java, JavaScript, C++) and technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Convai's in-house telephony framework, React/Node.js, SQL), and designed and implemented custom APIs.
