Hoang-Giang Tran has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Hoang-Giang is the Founder of Aura Network, a company they started in September 2021. Hoang-Giang is also an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since May 2020.

Prior to founding Aura Network, Hoang-Giang held various roles at FPT Software, including Vice President from June 2019 onwards and Solution Architect from May 2015 to December 2021. At FPT Software, they contributed to the development of a blockchain platform called akaChain.io, serving as the Founder, Director, and CTO from July 2018 to December 2021. Hoang-Giang also co-founded and served as the CTO of Utop JSC, a loyalty application built on distributed ledger technology, from October 2017 to December 2021.

Further, Hoang-Giang worked as a Blockchain Program Manager at FPT Japan Holdings from November 2017 to February 2019. Hoang-Giang led the Blockchain COE and was responsible for building up FPT's blockchain competency, community, and product. Additionally, they worked as an iOS-Developer Leader at SETA International in 2014.

Hoang-Giang Tran attended Harvard Business School in 2020, studying Disruptive Strategy. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from FPT University. They also pursued studies in Blockchain at MIT Sloan School of Management.
