Shashank Agrawal's work experience includes serving as a Research Analyst at Auquan, starting in 2022. In this role, they are responsible for covering economically important events on the Auquan Platform, including macro, ESG, and company-specific themes presented to investors. Shashank also monitors portfolio companies and prepares themes for investors.

Prior to that, Shashank worked as a Sector Specialist at Tracxn from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they tracked and analyzed startups and high-growth companies in various sectors, such as media & entertainment, chemicals tech, and telecom feeds. Shashank provided VCs/investors with a comprehensive view of different sectors and helped them understand the startup ecosystem in India. Shashank also worked with VCs/investors on their investment thesis and provided insights on emerging business models and deep-dive analysis of startups.

Before joining Tracxn, Shashank founded TADA Media in 2019, where they served as the Founder until 2020. In 2018, they worked as a Customer Service Associate at Amazon from August 2018 to April 2019.

Shashank Agrawal has a diverse educational background. Shashank earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Financial Market Management from Banaras Hindu University between 2015 and 2018. During the same period, they also completed a Certificate in Accounting Technician from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

In 2017, Shashank obtained a certification in the Mutual Fund Module from NCFM Share Market Training Institute. Shashank further expanded their knowledge in this field by obtaining a Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributor certification from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in September 2017.

Recently, Shashank pursued a Master's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, between 2020 and 2022. In July 2020, they completed the StartUp India Learning Program offered by Invest India.

In terms of ongoing education, Shashank is currently enrolled in the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) for a Series XV certification in Research Analyst. Additionally, they have shown interest in the mutual fund industry by pursuing a Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributor certification from the same institution.
