Tatiana Akimova is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in gene therapy, particularly focusing on Antisense Oligonucleotide (ASO) applications, anti-tumor immune response, and immune responses in organ transplantation and autoimmune diseases. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania since 2018, Tatiana also holds the position of Research Assistant Professor at AUM LifeTech since April 2021. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and various positions at St. Petersburg State Pavlov Medical University, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Allergy and Immunology and dual Doctor of Medicine degrees in Allergy and Immunology and Internal Medicine.
