Erez Cohen has worked in various roles since 2010. In 2010, they were a Researcher for NEXTOR, UC Berkeley -- National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research and an Analyst for Bioproduction Group. In 2011, they were a Trading/Quant Intern for Parallax Volatility Advisers, LLC and began their PhD studies in Operations Research at Columbia University. That same year, they also began working as a Forward Deployed Engineer for Palantir Technologies. In 2012, they Co-Founded Mapsense, which was a mapping company that analyzed massive geospatial data for customers in tech, finance, advertising, and environmental protection. After three years, Mapsense was acquired by Apple in 2015, and Erez Cohen became the Maps Lead. In 2019, Erez Cohen Co-Founded August Health.
Erez Cohen obtained their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley. Erez then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the same university. Currently, they are a PhD Candidate in Operations Research at Columbia Engineering.
