Shelby Salkar has had a successful career in the sports industry. From 2015-2022, they have held various positions in the field. From 2015-2019, Shelby was an Athletic Information Student Assistant and an Athletic Communications Assistant at Sam Houston State University and Middle Tennessee State University respectively. In 2021, they were an Assistant Director Athletic Communications at Wake Forest University where they were the primary media relations and content lead for the Wake Forest women’s soccer, men’s tennis and track & field and cross country programs. Currently, Shelby is working as a Marketing Coordinator at AUDL where they facilitate social specific content for the AUDL social channels, targets team fan bases with the use of email marketing, creates social graphic pieces for weekly content flow, and captures in-game photography and videography to be shared on all social platforms.

Shelby Salkar received their Diploma from Birdville High School in 2014, after completing their General Studies in 2010-2014. Shelby then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Sam Houston State University, graduating in 2018.
