Mdumiseni Dazela CA(SA) currently serves as a Senior Audit Manager at the Auditor-General of South Africa, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mdumiseni worked as an Acting Senior Manager at the Office of the Auditor General of South Africa from October 2022 to June 2023 and spent eight years at the Auditor-General of South Africa in various audit management roles from February 2014 to October 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as a Trainee Accountant at SizweNtsalubaGobodo from February 2010 to September 2013. Mdumiseni holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Financial Management from the University of Fort Hare.
