Itziar Zabaleta is an experienced R&D Engineer currently working at UNITH and Aflorithmic since February 2022. Previously, Zabaleta served as a Teaching Assistant and PhD Student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from October 2017 to April 2022, and worked as a Research Assistant at A*STAR from April to September 2017. Teaching experience includes a role as a Mathematics and Physics teacher at ASES Academia. Zabaleta has a diverse background in architecture, having held architect positions at RMA architects and RYE, along with early experience as a Graphic Designer at Publicaciones ETSAUN. Educational achievements include a PhD in Information Technology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a BSc in Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, Zabaleta obtained a BSc & MSc in Architecture from University of Navarra and studied piano at Escuela música Joaquín Maya.
