Research Scientist at Audioshake

Ondřej Cífka has a diverse work experience that spans across several companies and institutions. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Google, focusing on Tools and Infrastructure. The following year, they were a Visiting Undergraduate Researcher at The Johns Hopkins University. In 2017, Ondřej returned to Google as a Software Engineering Intern (Research), conducting research on deep generative models for text. Moving forward, they joined InterDigital, Inc. in 2020 as a Research Intern, focusing on self-supervised audio timbre transfer. Ondřej then pursued a PhD at Télecom Paris from 2018 to 2021, specializing in their research on deep generative models. Later on, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Montpellier, focusing on animal movement modeling and transformer explainability. Ondřej then moved to Utopia Music in 2022 as a Data Scientist, and in 2023, they joined AudioShake as a Research Scientist.

Ondřej Cífka's education history begins in 2013 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Charles University. Ondřej then pursued further studies and completed a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at the same university from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they also attended VOŠ Jaroslava Ježka and studied Jazz, although it is not specified if a degree was obtained in this field.
