Derek Schmitz has held a variety of roles throughout their work experience. Derek started their career as a Client Services Representative at Cision from 2004 to 2006 before transitioning to an Account Executive for a brief period in 2006. Derek then became an Account Manager at Cision from 2006 to 2014, where they managed over 120 accounts and achieved impressive revenue goals.
In 2015, Derek joined Arkadin as a Customer Success Manager, specializing in maximizing usage and knowledge in the client base. Derek managed training and adoption for roll-outs and became a subject matter expert on various conferencing platforms.
Derek continued their career at Arkadin, taking on the role of Senior Customer Experience Manager from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they managed software training plans and created user guides and training videos for multiple conferencing platforms.
From 2018 to 2019, Derek served as an Organizational Change Manager at Arkadin. Derek worked with clients to develop programs that promote successful conferencing or UC system changes. Derek conducted discovery workshops and created custom communication and adoption plans.
Most recently, in 2022, Derek joined AudioCodes as a Project Manager. Overall, Derek has gained extensive experience in project management, customer success, training, and organizational change management across multiple industries.
Derek Schmitz completed their bachelor's degree in History at Purdue University from 1997 to 2002.
