Jon Colás Gómez has over 10 years of work experience in IT. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an IT Manager at 4IKIM COLLABORATION, where they were responsible for strengthening the IT infrastructure by implementing new technologies, installing hardware and software, and performing routine audits and monitoring of systems and services. From 2013 to the present, they have been working as an Administrator of Linux Systems / Devops at Audiense, where they have managed over 100 Ubuntu Linux instances and over 2000 services, including web services, databases, VPNs, monitoring, containerization, load balancers, proxy-cache, rsyslog, automation software, version control, CI/CD deployments, distributed file systems, queue managers, and more. Jon has also administered other services hosted on Amazon AWS, such as ECS, VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route53, and ELB, and has deployed software in production and development environments. Jon has also implemented auto-scaling, high availability, and automation processes in clustered environments.

Jon Colás Gómez completed their Superior Vocational training Grade - Computer and Information Systems Manager from I.E.S Augusto Gonzalez de Linares in 2009. Jon is currently attending the Universidad de Cantabria. Additionally, they hold an LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
