Karen Appathurai Wiggins is an experienced media executive with a strong background in content creation and management across various platforms and regions. Currently serving as VP & Head of Regional Content APAC and Global Tentpole Program at Audible since October 2019, Karen previously held key positions at The Walt Disney Company, including Head of Content Studio (Millennial) and Artist Relations for Southeast Asia, where a focus on digital-first initiatives garnered significant viewership. At NBCUniversal, Karen was instrumental in securing international commissions and managing talent and production functions. With a solid foundation in factual entertainment and reality television production, including work with Matchbox Pictures and FremantleMedia, Karen has demonstrated expertise in leading creative projects across Asia-Pacific. Educated in television producing and theatre, Karen brings a diverse skill set to the media landscape.
