Klaus Spang currently serves as the Director of Quality and Head of Quality for the Audi F1 Project since October 2022. Prior to this role, Klaus Spang accumulated extensive experience at AUDI AG from March 2002 to September 2022, holding multiple leadership positions in quality control and assurance across various divisions, including responsibilities in quality management for products in the USA and China. Klaus Spang began a career in the automotive industry as a Diplomand at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. in 2001 after obtaining a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Vehicle Technology from Bingen University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, Klaus Spang completed a training program as a KFZ-Mechaniker at Fahrzeughaus Barwick GmbH from 1993 to 1996.
