Álvaro Medina Ballester is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Auctane since January 2022, Álvaro oversees team operations for Packlink within the organization. Previously, Álvaro held a similar position at Packlink.com from October 2021 to January 2023, where management of the PRO SaaS B2B product and leadership of Acquisition, Conversion, and Retention teams were key responsibilities. As General Manager at Fundació Bit and ParcBIT from September 2019 to October 2021, Álvaro led over 250 people across multiple engineering teams focused on critical software and IT operations for the public sector in the Balearic Islands. Prior to these roles, Álvaro was Mobile Tech Lead at ADVANCED PROGRAMMING SOLUTIONS SL, where a mobile development team was created and managed. Early career experience includes roles as iOS Developer at Mola.com and Developer at Logitravel. Álvaro holds a PDD from IESE Business School and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat de les Illes Balears.
