Sir Kenneth McKenzie

Sir Kenneth McKenzie has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sir Kenneth began working as the Branch Operations Manager at Linfox Armaguard Pty Ltd from September 2004 to July 2009. Following that, they served as the General Manager at Rail Systems Solutions Pty Limited from February 2011 to July 2012, where they successfully established collaborative relationships and developed a skilled team in the rail industry. Sir McKenzie then joined Transport for NSW - Transport Projects in August 2012, assuming the role of Manager Safety Competence, responsible for managing employee, contractor, and supply partner competence assessments and compliance. From June 2016 to June 2018, they were a Principal Consultant at Ken McKenzie Consulting. Sir McKenzie started working at the Auckland War Memorial Museum in August 2016 and held different roles, including Head of Security, Health & Safety, and Health, Safety & Security Manager. Sir Kenneth and their team ensured high standards of security and health & safety for workers and visitors at the museum. Sir McKenzie's most recent work experience is as the Director and Senior Lead Consultant at KM HSSR Consulting Limited, where they started in February 2021.

Sir Kenneth McKenzie has a diverse educational background in various fields. Sir Kenneth has completed a degree in Emergency Management Public Safety with a focus on Risk & Disaster Emergency Management from Emergency Management Australia. Additionally, they have received training as an Emergency Medical Technician from NSW Ambulance Training School, specializing in Emergency Care Medicine. Sir McKenzie has also attended the NSW Police Academy to study Criminal Law for Policing. Furthermore, they hold a Diploma in Work Health & Safety Management from PARASOL EMT and has upgraded their qualifications in Training & Assessment, including LLN UofC, through a Certificate IV TAE Training & Assessment from PARASOL EMT. Sir Kenneth is also a member of ASIS International, obtained in December 2020.
