David Reeves is an experienced professional in the fields of collections and research, currently serving as the Director of Collections and Research at Auckland Museum since January 2011. Previously, David held the position of Associate Chief Librarian at the National Library of New Zealand from 2009 to 2010 and served as Senior Registrar at Auckland Art Gallery from June 2000 to May 2009. David received a BBSc degree in Building Science with a focus on Architecture from Victoria University of Wellington in 1987.
