Susan Carpenter has over two decades of experience in library management, currently serving as Team Leader, Library Network Support, at Auckland Council since March 2012, where responsibilities include community engagement, service delivery at Waiuku Library, and staff management. Previously, Susan held various roles at Manukau City Council from 1994 to March 2012, including Community Library Manager and Community Librarian, where key functions involved outreach, recruitment, performance management, and customer service. Additional roles included cataloging for Botany Library and responsibilities as Children's Librarian at Clendon Library, contributing to the establishment of library services.
