Mike Lepper is a highly skilled IT/ICT professional with extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure and operations. Currently serving as the Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure at Auckland Airport since August 2019, Mike excels in ensuring the reliable, consistent, secure delivery, and optimal performance of applications and services. Previous roles include Acting Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure and Senior IT Security and Infrastructure Consultant at IT Securities Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed SLAs, incident management, and vendor management. Mike also served as IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager at Turners and Growers, overseeing critical operational aspects and a substantial IT budget. Early in the career, Mike served as an Avionics Tech in the Royal New Zealand Airforce from January 1991 to December 2001, providing a strong technical foundation. Additionally, Mike is recognized as a pioneer architect of cloud-based systems, including Office 365, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
